Our practice with extended opening hours was established in April 2011 and we are pleased to continue delivery of care to the Deer Park, Derrimut, Caroline Springs, Albanvale and surrounding communities. Derrimut Medicals is a Mixed-Billing Centre from 24th April 2023.
Only eligible patients will be bulk billed for Medicare Rebateable Services.
These patients include;
• Children under 16 years,
• Vaccinations - Influenza and kids vaccination
• Health Care Card and Pension card holders and DVA card holders
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
To allow us to provide this service, a current Medicare card is required.
Private patients call the clinic for fee details.
Appointments
Patients must make an appointment at this practice, and GP’s try their best to run on time. The practice accepts walk-ins under circumstances but booking patients will be seen first.
Appointments
Patients who need to cancel or change an appointment with a GP need to notify reception 4 hours minimum before appointment time. No Show fee of $40 will apply.
For allied health service, it is essential to notify reception for any cancellation or changes to appointments 24 hours prior to appointment; otherwise there will be a no-show charge.
If you require long consultations, medical paperwork or another family member needs to be seen by a doctor please notify reception staff when making the appointment.
